Wednesday Story Time Schedule

Welcome to Wednesday Story Time.  Alma Public Library presents a 45-minunte story time for toddler and pre-school children focusing on early childhood development.  The purpose of these sessions is to foster a love for books and reading for the children of our community.  It provides opportunities for the children to develop social skills through circle play, sharing, trading, role playing.  Hand and finger activities are used to develop fine motor skills necessary for writing;  these include coloring, hand rhymes, small particle pickup for finger tips and puzzles for coordination.  Story topics are selected each week with coordinating activities.  Alma Public Library welcomes your suggestions to make story hour a most enjoyable time for your family.
