The May “Quilter of the Month” at the library is Dell Martinez of Blair.  Dell has an infectious enthusiasm for the art of quilting and has made over 700 quilts of all sizes.  Don’t miss Dell’s bed size quilts hanging from the balcony and her wonderful collection of miniatures and wall hangings on stage and in the display case.  Dell hopes to start a local quilt guild and has plans to share her knowledge with other quilters.  Be sure to check out this collection weekly, as Dell will be bringing in new quilts every Saturday.
