Have you seen the eagles4kids.com website? Now is the time to check out this great site, created by the 3rd and 4th grade students in Mr. Lawrence’s class at Blair-Taylor Elementary School. Thanks to a camera mounted above the nest near Beaches Corner, anyone can watch a live stream of activity by the resident eagles Larry & Lucy. It’s a very exciting time, as we wait for the two eggs in the nest to hatch (probably around April 6th)!
With the help of students from Mr. Lawrence’s class, the library has set up a table display with photos and other information about Larry and Lucy. You can also learn more about the eagles by going to the eagles4kids.com website. Just click on the eagle image above for a quick link or look for the link in the resources listed at the bottom of this page. Once there you will have access to videos, pictures, daily updates, and lots of amazing eagle facts.
Don’t forget to visit their Facebook page!
