     CATCH THE READING BUG, Summer Reading Program
 Summer readers grades K through 5 may win reading rewards and prizes for reading each week.  Wednesday afternoon activity programs are open to all summer readers free of charge.  Thursday Night Live at 6:45 at the library will repeat the Wednesday program.  JOIN THE FUN!!  Call the library for more information about the summer program.  The program runs from June 11 to July 23.
          STORY HOUR: Wednesday, 10:00 AM
Preschool Story Hour for children ages 3 to 5 is held every Wednesday at 10:00 AM.  Story hour begins with a reading from picture books or stories. Stories are followed by related activities, games, or simple crafts.  Older children and parents are welcome to stay.  Registration is not required for the program.

       Food Drive - A community outreach event
                             usually held in February 

       Book Sale - A community event including
                            a plant and bake bake sale
                            usually held in April/May. 
 
       Book Signings - Book signings with regional
                                  authors are scheduled
                                  whenever possible.
