STORY TIME Every Wednesday: 10:30 AM, for children ages two to five. Children listen to a story and work on projects and activities.
CCC Camps historical presentation on May 22, 2:00 at Marten Center. A fun, nostalgic look at the 1930’s Federal Works Program that gave employment to 3.5 million men.. Hilarious stories, foot tapping songs, and a short video makes this a “must see” experience!
Summer Reading in June and July
Tracy Chipman, Storyteller, July 18. 7:00 at library. Ms. Chipman, a professional storyteller, began telling stories as an educator of young children in 1989. Since 1995 she has been gathering and telling stories professionally around the country. Her collection is a multicultural group of world myth, legends, wonder & nature tales with a focus on stories from the Celtic Lands of Ireland and Scotland
Jane Kirkpatrick book signing and discussion on September 28, 1:30, at the Library. Jane, who grew up in Mondovi, is inter-nationally recognized for her lively presentations and well-researched stories .

MONTHLY/WEEKLY EVENTS
Mondovi Public Library Board Meeting:: Everyone is welcome to attend Library Board meetings which are held the first Tuesday of all months except January at 4:30 PM in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Current member so the board are: President, Mindy Hayes; Vise President, Debora Bruning; Secretary, Kari Lewis; Treasurer, Cheryl Gullisksrud; Members, Robert Stoughton, Galen Hagen, Sonja Kamla. Buffalo County liaison is Dave Eddy.
Friends of the Mondovi Public Library Meetings: Everyone is invited to attend the quarterly meetings that are held the third Thursday of January, April, July, and October at 5:00 PM at the library. Current Board Members include: Kay Larson, Jan Parkhurst, Jan Schmittfranz, Betty harms.
Story Time: Story time for children ages two to five is held every Wednesday during all months except June, July , and August. Children listen to a story and work on associated projects.
Book Friends: Book Friends Reading Group meets the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00 PM at the library. The group is open to everyone and selects books from all genres.
