                                              SCRIP
SCRIP is a collection of  gift certificates from local and national vendors; "Friends" makes these certificates available for purchase  locally.  Certificates for grocery stores,  gas stations, sports stores, restaurants,  department stores, and more are available for purchase.

Gift certificates are the same as the certificates sold at the place of business and buy the same amount as the ones at the store.  You, as the purchaser,  receive full value for your purchase. Since "Friends" purchases these certificates at a slightly reduced percent,  "Friends" makes a profit.

Friends SCRIP is the FOL's biggest fundraiser.  Scrip costs our patrons nothing and gives them the convenience of  shopping right in Mondovi for gift certificates from national and/or local stores.

"Friends" certificates are available at United Bank in Mondovi.  Order forms are in a holder on the wall to the right of the teller stations at the bank; just fill out the form and take the form to one of the bank windows.  Order forms are also available at the library, and special orders may be left at the library desk.
