           POLICIES
   FINES/LOST ITEMS
 
Fines for materials owned by the Mondovi Public Library are $.05 per day; fines only accrue on days when the library is open.  Fines for materials from WRLS are determined by the fine rate of the lending library.   Fines for materials from Interlibrary loan are $1.00 per week per item.

Lost, damaged, or destroyed materials are the responsibility of the borrower; fines will be assessed.

Unpaid fines of $10.00 or more may result in the loss of library borrowing privileges.   As a courtesy,  patrons are notified of fines which are excessive or long term.
