“Friends of the Mondovi Public Library”,  aka FRIENDS  or FOL, is a volunteer organization whose members donate time and support to enrich the library’s outreach to the community.  Friends’ dues and fundraisers assist in the purchase of items that are beyond the library’s regular budget. Some Friends also help with events and activities in and outside of the library.

Friends of the Library is managed by it’s members and an elected board consisting of chairman, vice chairman, secretary, and treasurer.  “Friends” meetings are the third Tuesday of January, April, July, and October at 5:30PM in the library.

Some volunteer activities that Friends choose to do are: help with book sales, sort and pack book donations, assist with library events, help with story hour, repair books, assist with the twice annual newsletter, create book displays, decorate the library for seasons and special events, provide refreshments for select activities, donate special skills for library projects.
