April is the month for National Library Week! Celebrate your favorite book by drawing a picture about it. Pick up a form at the library desk. Return the drawing to the librarian and you will receive a certificate for a FREE single scoop of Culver’s ice cream at your participating neighborhood Culver’s. You must be eleven or younger and may only submit one drawing.
StoryTime & Artist’s Workshop
Celebrate springtime by listening to a story. Then make a lovely springtime craft! Our April workshop will be Thursday, April 18th 3:45-4:45. Bring your children 5 and up for a change of pace… slow down… listen to a story together. :^)

What do you do with a book that is not usable or relevant anymore? Make it into art of course! Learn about the art of upcycling, deconstructing & reimagining books at our workshop on Monday, April 15th 3:30-4:30. Ages 12 through adult. Free of charge. My Favorite Library Contest
”MY FAVORITE LIBRARY” writing contest.
The winning library will receive $1,000! Each entry (one per reader) should tell bestselling author Carla Neggers in one hundred words or less why our library deserves to win the prize! This contest if for ages 18 and older. The winner will also receive a selection of books and a gift basket of New England products.
