What is it?

A Group of Teen Volunteers who help provide teen perspectives on the services and materials the library offers.

Our Mission:

  • Enrich the lives of the teens, support and assist the New Lisbon Memorial Library.
  • To be a voice for teens and to promote a community where youth are valued and involved.

When do we meet?

We meet on the FOURTH Wendesday of the month during the school year from 4:30pm to 5:30pm

SNACKS provided!!

What We Do:

  • Help plan and volunteer at events
  • Gather, present and implement ideas for teen programs
  • Provide input for library services
  • Participate in volunteer efforts throughout the year
  • Promote the library and services it offers
  • Give input to create an inviting, safe and comfortable teen space
  • Educate teens and others about the library and the services we offer
  • Recommend teen materials (CDs, DVDs, books, magazines etc) for our collection

Requirement:

  • Teens in grades 8th – 12th
  • Willing to have fun
  • Willing to be committed
