Tuesday, June 5th At 5 pm Transit of Venus Watch through goggles the Friends of the Library purchased for this event “The transit or passage of a planet across the face of the Sun is a relatively rare occurrence. As seen from Earth, only transits of Mercury and Venus are possible. On average, there are 13 transits of Mercury each century. In contrast, transits of Venus occur in pairs with more than a century separating each pair.” |
Noon Wednesdays From 12 to 1 pm June 6th Hugo DVD June 13th Flight of the Navigator DVD June 20th The Astronaut Farmer DVD June 27th Arctic Tale DVD Have space suit–will travel, by Robert A. Heinlein will be read Sandwiches, cookies & milk will be served |
Wednesday, July 11th From 3 to 6:10 pm Visit to Wildcat Mountain! Bus at the library in Norwalk at 3 pm, returns by 6:10 pm |
