Jerry Apps, born and raised on a Wisconsin farm, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the author of more than 30 books, many of them on rural history and country life.
As part of PBS’s Reel to Real Program and The Shirley M. Wright Centennial Celebration, we will view the screening edition of Jerry App’s heartwarming documentary, A Farm Story, at 7:00 on Tuesday, May 14. Jerry will lead us in a discussion of life growing up on a rural Wisconsin farm following the screening.
