What’s It Worth? An Antique Appraisal Event

It’s like the Antiques Roadshow right here in your backyard!

As part of our Centennial Celebration this year, come and join us on Sunday, April 14th from 1-4 for an exciting event of antiques and collectibles appraisals and appraisal theater! Mark Moran, a guest appraiser on the popular PBS show, will be here to appraise, educate, and entertain.

If you have an item you would like to have appraised, registration is required by calling or stopping into the library. If you have multiple items or items that are too big or fragile to bring into the library, Mark is willing to make house calls for a fee. He has generously offered to donate 10% of that fee to our library.

For more information on the event and what items Mark will NOT appraise, click here.

Thank You!

Some of our talented musicians!

We are so grateful to Ecker’s Apple Farm, Trempealeau Hotel, Beedle’s Bar and Restaurant, Renaissance Breads and Pastries, Elmaro Vineyard, Sullivan’s Wine Cellar, and Festival Foods for their wonderful “tastes” and wines.

Our musical guests were simply fantastic and had us dancing in the aisles! Thank you to Heartwoods and John Smith and Dan Sebranek.

Taste of Trempealeau 2013

Taste of Trempealeau 2013

The kickoff of our Centennial Celebration starts with the library’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the Taste of Trempealeau. The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Trempealeau Library, will be February 10 from 4-6:30pm. Join us for an evening of tasty treats from Trempealeau’s finest, spectacular silent auction items, great wine, music, treats, and friends! Click here to view some of our silent auction items.

A special addition to this year’s Taste is the opportunity to purchase limited edition prints of our founder, Hettie Pierce’s, amazing paintings. Click here to view the two prints for sale.

And the winner is…

SkippyJon Jones!

Storytime

Look at our little doctors in the making!

We had so much fun this morning at storytime!  We read and sang about being sick, washing our hands, and going to the doctor.  Join us next Friday at 10:00 for our storytime on caring for our teeth and going to the dentist.
