Who can become a Friend?
Anyone with an interest in the library.
Monthly Meetings
Board members meet the forth Thursday of every month, at 4:30PM, in the library basement.
If you are interested please come and join us.
What does a Friends group do?
Provide services to the library such as:
Community Awareness
Fund Raising
Service to the Community
Service to the Library
Friends Book Cart Sale
Located in the foyer of the Adult Library is the Friend’s Book Cart. You can select from hard-covered books for $1.00 or paperbacks for $.50. All money raised goes to the Friends organization which directly supports the library.
Why does the Library need Friends?
To help with projects the library budget doesn’t cover, such as:
Book & Magazine Sales
Preschool Story Hours
Programs for Adults and Children
Equipment
Summer Reading Program
And more!
” . . . the purpose of this association shall be to promote and improve library services, materials and facilities for the community; to stimulate gifts and bequests to the library; to provide volunteer support in strengthening the library’s programs and to ensure the broadest possible use of its facilities, materials and services.”
Membership Fees
Individual – $10.00
Family – $15.00
Supporting – $25.00 – $49.00
Patron – $50.00 – $99.00
Benefactor – $100.00 – $499.00
Life Member – $500.00 or more
