Join us on Monday, May 20, at 6 pm for a personal account from local historian Darrel Hanold about his time spent living at the Wonewoc Spiritualist Camp during the summer of 1979. The talk is free and open to the public, and will also be live-streamed via Facebook Live for those who aren’t able to attend in person. This is sure to be an interesting, informative and lively conversation you won’t want to miss!

Juneau County Reads Author Event Rescheduled to April 11
You are invited to the culmination of our Juneau County Reads 2024 on Tuesday, April 11, at 6:30 pm at the historic Elroy Theatre! Join author William Kent Krueger as he talks about the writing process, his Cork O’Connor Mysteries and his latest novel, The River We Remember. Refreshments will be available. This event is sponsored by your Juneau County Libraries: Wonewoc, Mauston, Elroy, New Lisbon and Necedah.
Travels to Uganda
Join us on Monday, April 8 at 6:30 pm to hear about Dave Popp’s trip to Uganda. There, he immersed himself in Ugandan culture and helped teach local pastors and church leaders tips from the book “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.” Dave went at the invitation of AsOne Ministries, who journey to towns around Uganda to build clinics, hospitals and schools as well as start small businesses, all run and staffed by Ugandans. Please stop in for this inspiring presentation!
The Library will be closing at noon on Good Friday, March 29. We will be open normal hours on Monday, April 1.

Leah Rachuj to Offer Music Meditation Session
Wonewoc-area musician Leah Rachuj will be offering a unique opportunity in the library community room on Monday, March 25 at 6 pm. The music meditation session will incorporate a variety of singing bowls (crystal, Tibetan), guitar and violin, as well as vocal tones to enhance meditation and sound healing. Wonewoc Historical Presentation Coming to the Library
Join us on Monday, February 12, at 6:30 pm for a peak into Wonewoc history! Join Wonewoc historian Darrel Hanold as he shares the recollections of local residents of German descent about their ancestors’ journeys to America and their experiences settling in our area. This FREE in-person program will be followed by a brief question and answer session and will also be streamed on Facebook Live. See you there!
