Winding Rivers Library System Shoutbomb SMS Alerts Service Description
The SMS Alerts service provided by Shoutbomb gives you the option to receive text messages from Winding Rivers Library System on your mobile device. After your notice preference is set to Text, Winding Rivers Library System will send you text messages to bring an event to your attention, such as an overdue item or a hold ready for pickup. Contact the library for specific information about when you’ll receive alerts.
Although Winding Rivers Library System does not charge for this service, message and data rates may apply.
Opt In/Opt-Out info
To opt in, contact your local library or login to the Encore patron account using your barcode and PIN (encore.wrlsweb.org). Once logged in, click the Edit Account button at the top left corner of the screen. You should now see the Modify Patron Information Screen. Make sure to enter your phone number in the Telephone field. Next, select the Text button and press Submit.
To opt out from the Winding Rivers Library System Alerts, contact your local library. You will not receive any additional text messages via your mobile phone. You may also opt out by logging into your patron record using your barcode and PIN (encore.wrlsweb.org) and updating your patron record.
